Alphabetical Glossary

This glossary contains every entry of the thematic glossary, arranged in the Egyptian alphabetical order customary in dictionaries. It is the order in which the uniliteral signs are presented in Chapter 1; the letter bar below leads to each letter.

Dots, hyphens and equals signs in the transliteration are ignored in the ordering, as is the capital letter at the start of proper names. Words with identical transliteration appear one after another, each with its own meaning and its place in the thematic glossary.

Each entry links to its place in the thematic glossary, where it appears alongside words from the same semantic field.
